Louis is the loving husband to the late Carol Kollwitz; cherished father to Bryan (Ronette) Kollwitz, Sheri (Paul) Graegin, the late Bruce Kollwitz and the late Jeffrey Kollwitz; grandfather of seven; great-grandpa to three; beloved brother to Jean Nevroske, the late Daniel Kollwitz and the late Patricia Livingston; uncle to many.
Louis honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 30 years of faithful service at Inland Steel.
Visitation will be Monday, May 26, 2025, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 12:00 pm also at Kuiper Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
