Louis M. Nuccio, age 80, of Hammond, IN passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances; daughter, Lisa (John) Beaupain of Griffith, IN; grandchildren: Corinne (Ben) Speckien of Wheaton, IL; Laura, Brian, and Jillian Beaupain all of Griffith, IN; great grandson, Charlie Speckien of Wheaton, IL; and sister-in-law, Catherine (Edward) Smutniak of Hammond, IN. Louis was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Nuccio. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Private interment will be held at the family's request. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mr. Nuccio was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church of Hammond., IN. He retired from Imperial Wallpaper in Hammond, IN and was formerly employed at Combustion Engineering in East Chicago, IN and Vierk's Furniture in Hammond, IN. Louis was born in Hammond, LA.
