Marge Jenkins (nee Groot), 92, of Highland passed away at home on Friday, June 18, 2010. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; five brothers and five sisters. Services will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, Indiana, with Dr. Roy Moffitt officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Kuiper Funeral Home from 2:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 21, 2010. Memorials may be sent to The Bible League. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hammond and had retired from the Highland Department Store after 27 years of service.
