Marilyn L. Pepin Weiss

Marilyn L. Weiss (nee Pepin), age 69 of Highland, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard; three children: Tracey Weiss of Highland, Richard (Jennifer) Weiss of Hobart and Guy (Sharon) Weiss of Crown Point; seven grandchildren: Rachel and Matthew Fundukian of Highland, Olivia and Jack Weiss of Hobart, Guy, Jr., Elizabeth and Erin Weiss of Crown Point; one brother, Norman Pepin of Park Forest, IL; one sister, Edna Dettmann of Hickory Hills, IL; and many nieces and nephews; and son, Rascal; and granddaughter, Blue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. James Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN with Rev. Keith Virus officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, IN. Prayer service Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

Mrs. Weiss was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Highland. She was an avid gardener.
