Marsha Elaine Berg

Marsha is the loving wife to Shawn Berg; devoted mother to Crystal Berg, Wendy (Mike) Triana, the late Tammy Berg, Daniel Berg, Randy Berg, John Berg and Jessica Berg; proud grandmother to Paige, Dylan, Aurora and Ethan; cherished sister to Yvonne Terock, Charles (Debbie) Hager, the late Carolyn Van Es and Bruce Hager.

Marsha was born on October 17, 1962, in Dayton OH to Charles and Alice Hager. Although she did graduate with a degree in accounting, she spent most of her years at home raising her children and making wonderful memories with her husband Shawn. She met Shawn in May of 1987 when he came into the roller rink where she worked at the time. The two shared a first date at Pepe’s in July of 1987, and just two short months later eloped to Lake Tahoe to make the love at first sight become forever. The pair would have been married 35 years this September.

Marsha above all was a devoted mother and wife. Attending holiday parties and field trips when her children were young, helping with school studies, and always being a shoulder to lean on. Marsha was a giving and joyous person with a fun and free spirit. She liked to make others laugh and smile and this was evident all the way until the end. Hugs were plentiful for her children growing up and I love yous were given to anyone who visited before they left.

One of Marsha’s dreams was to travel to Ireland, which she was able to do in Sept of 2017 with Shawn and Jessica. Memories that will be cherished forever. Marsha also enjoyed spending time with her two dogs and playing Pokémon Go where she was able to meet many new friends. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved looking at all the lights and spending time with family.

Marsha will be so deeply missed by her friends and family. She was at home peaceful and surrounded by loved ones until the end. Her memory will live on through us all.

Per Marsha’s request there will be no public services. A celebration of life will be held for the family at a later date.
