Mary Jo Yates (nee Uelk), age 78, of Flossmoor, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. Survived by her two sons: Frank Yates, Joseph Yates; one brother Thom Uelk; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter Pamela; two brother Joe and Bernard; one sister Joann.
A visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322, followed by a funeral services at 5:00 PM with Randy Harrison, Minister officiating. Cremation to follow.
Mary Jo loved animals and playing board games, especially Scrabble. She was also an avid book reader.
