Aunt melody was always there to capture us in the brightest light  

I am blessed to have had such a wonderful and thoughtful daughter-in-law. She always brought me the best presents when she came to visit. Her preparation for our Ravinia picnics was impeccable. I felt like I was in a 4 star restaurant with everything perfect, even though it was outside. She took great pride in her professionalism at work. Her approach to this also was impeccable. She was so pleased to be able to contribute to the team, and do a great job for all of her bosses.   She was the official photographer for all the trips we went on. Her pictures are great, even though it is hard to find a picture of her. She had a knack for catching people off guard then snapping the picture.  
She will be missed. She always brought a touch of class with her. She was loved.

My sincere condolences to you.  I had the pleasure of working with Melody at Seyfarth Shaw for the past few years.     She was an invaluable member of our team and indispensable to my practice.   She took great pride in her work, which made her a great match for me and my assistant.    I miss her spirit (may it live on eternally) and laugh.  May she rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to The Gunning Family. I was proud to call Melody friend! We met at Seyfarth and discovered we shared a unique sense of humor which kept us laughing. She was a great source of information, which she willingly shared, which made my job easier. I was also blessed to be the recipient of one of her handmade gifts. I love Christmas and I shared a funny story with her about how I left my Christmas tree up for seven years straight and it appeared in all of the holiday photos we took throughout the years until my brother took it down and threw it away 😩. She made me a Christmas tree for my retirement as a gift decorated with all my favorite things as ornaments and I will treasure it the rest of my life. Thank you Melody for being born and coming into my life.

I worked with Melody at Seyfarth.  It was always nice to talk about our next adventures.  She loved spending time with her family and shared her family travel excursions. She encouraged me to take an Amtrak cross country trip.   I will miss our conversations!  She will be truly missed.

I remember the summers at Grandpa Cunningham's / Grandma Cunningham's house in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sheesh - those were fun days. I'm SO glad we knew each other back then. Jamie, Joni, Danny, and I were cuz's then and now. We get old, life and seaons go by. Although we cuz's don't hang out much anymore now, we're still fam!! Love you all. We were very blessed Melody came into our family.  She was always kind  and enjoyed watching the children in our family grow up.  She had a very happy laugh.  Whenever we were together she always remembered to take pictures and I’m very grateful she did.   We were very fortunate she traveled to Wisconsin and the NJ shore and we got to share some memories with her and Jeff there. She loved the sunsets.   No more pain and suffering Melody. Melody was a gracious, refined woman.  She carried this same class into her jewelry designs that were always very pretty.  She had outstanding skills as a photographer. Had she wanted to she could have been a professional photographer. She was generous and thoughtful of others.  She was attentive to her mother-in-law, my mother, and Melody always brought treats she  knew my mother would enjoy. She will be missed. Sad to say this. 

Very sad to hear of her passing.  I worked with Melody at Seyfarth and will always remember her sense of humor.  Thank you for being honest.  Mary Uribe

she was the sweetest lady .  She always came into the Hammond Domino every weekend and was always so nice to us even if we were running behind. The entire hammond Dominos will miss you!!!
