Michael C Pachowicz

Michael K. Pachowicz, age 92, of Griffith, Indiana entered into God's Kingdom on October 25, 2022. He was born on September 29, 1930 to Joseph and Carolina Pachowicz. Michael, the most loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife of 50 years Irena; daughters Margaret Pachowicz (Keith Gardina), Yvonne Pachowicz; son Michael D. Pachowicz (Jennifer); grandson Zachary Gardina; granddaughters Liljana Pachowicz and Eva Gonsiorowski.

Upon leaving Tarnow, Poland and coming here to America in the late 1960's he wanted to move here to have a better life for him and his wife Irena. He left his wife temporarily in Poland to come here so they could have the American dream. Once here, Michael tirelessly and faithfully tried supporting his family by working multiple jobs. he was an electrician in Canada for a manufacturing firm and also a steel worker at LaSalle Steel in Hammond, Indiana (aka Paco).

Michael had quite a unique personality and natural charisma to make friends and no matter the situation his laugh was infectious to everyone around him.

As a man, Michael's hobbies were that he was an avid bike rider and loved fixing and rebuilding small engines in his spare time.

Michael was truly a great man who's impact will be forever felt by his family that loves him dearly. He was a selfless man who's passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, support, forgive and love will be forever engrained in all he knew.
