Rema L. Vezey

Rema is the loving mother to Susan Vezey, Tim (Ann) Vezey and Laura (the late Al) Grant; proud grandmother to Jeremy (Amber) Vezey; and great-grandmother to Tyler Vezey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Vezey; brothers, Charles Memering and Joe Bair; and numerous other family members and friends.

Rema is a lifelong resident of Gary, IN. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hammond, where she worked for over 60 years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322. Funeral services will be Monday, March 17, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Kuiper Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Phillip, at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
