IN LOVING MEMORY OF RICHARD ALEXANDER BLACK SR. January 24, 1942-May 7, 2018 Richard Alexander Black Sr. (age 76) passed away on May 7, 2018 in Chicago, IL. He resided in Highland, IN. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Irene Black. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Bette (Griffith) Black; daughter Denise (Mike Windle); son Rich Black Jr. (Helen Holoubek); two sisters: Iris (Black) Howell and Phyliss Black; grandchildren: Michael Windle (Kelly Franklin), Matthew Windle (Amanda Stock), Kaitlynn Windle, Lacy Black (Mike Ward), Josh Black, Levi Black, Heidi Holoubek, Tyler Holoubek and Haliee Holoubek; great grandchildren: Carter Ward, Bria Stock, Brielle Windle and Kenleigh Ward; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Richard was a lover of the outdoors, Harleys and racing. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, May 11, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Shawn Cornett, Minister officiating. Cremation will follow service.
