Ronald Graczyk

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara (nee Krieger) Graczyk; daughter, Rosemary (Larry) Miklusak; son, Richard (Kathy) Graczyk; and daughter-in-law, Ruthann Graczyk; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dolores Arcury; brother-in-law, George Krieger; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Graczyk; parents, Andrew and Mary (nee Kopercinski) Graczyk; brother, Stan (late Clara) Graczyk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Julia (Bakos) Krieger; brother-in-law, Thomas Krieger; sister-in-law, Theresa (late Milton “Moon”) Hruskocy; and great-granddaughter, Madison.

He retired as a Supervisor from American Steel Foundries in East Chicago, IN. Ron was a Veteran of the US Army. He loved football, woodworking and following his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a graduate of Thornton Fractional Township High School, Calumet City, IL, Class of 1954. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Hammond, IN, where he served as an usher.

Per Ron’s request, he will be cremated and there will be no Visitation. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
