Ronald C. Ross

Ronald C. Ross, age 83, of Griffith, IN, passed away on August 11, 2026. He is survived by his wife, "Lady Pamela" Pamela Ross; his children, Alicia (Tim) Chicki, Shane (Lisa) Lowden, Aaron (Jacki) Ross, Julie Ross, and Ronnie Ross; his grandchildren, Cailey, Caleb, Miranda, Skylar, Storm, Chad (Kelcey), Chase, Aaron, Joshua, Chandler, Stormi, and Holly; his brother, Paul; and several great-grandchildren, friends, and other family members.

Ron was preceded in death by his son, Bobby; his three sisters, Arlene, Barbara, and Donna; and his brother, Raymond.

Services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322, starting with a funeral service at 3:00 pm and visitation to follow until 8:00 pm. Burial will be private, for immediate family only. Ron's final resting place will be Ross Cemetery in Griffith, IN.

Ron was a truly beautiful soul whose loving, hardworking, and generous nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His happy, calming presence could brighten any room, and he was someone you could always depend on, no matter what. For fifty years, Ron was a proud ironworker, dedicating himself to his work with the same strength and determination he brought to everything in life. He was an avid churchgoer and valued his faith heavily. He loved reading, making art and drawings, and both playing and listening to music. He was crazy about cars and could name every make and model, and he had a special love for horses. But more than anything in this world, Ron loved his family. They were his greatest joy and the center of his heart. His kindness, steady presence, wonderful sense of wonder, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed, but the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
