Rosa Charo Gonzalez

Rosa Gonzalez, age 95, of Highland, IN passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. She is survived by 6 children: Gilbert Gonzalez, of Merrillville, Mary (Peter) Villarreal, of Highland, Alicia (late Joaquin) Montalvo, of Highland, Mario (Ernestina) Gonzalez, of Hammond, John (Juanita) Gonzalez, of Portage, Helen (Richard) Hernandez, of Highland, 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; preceded in death by one brother Jesus Charo, one daughter Rosa Amelia Garza, one son Jesse Gonzalez, two grandchildren Margaret & Hector Garza. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY at St. James Catholic Church, Rev. Keith Virus officiating; burial Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd (2 blocks south of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN. Mom was a loving and doting mother and grandmother. She was always there for all of us, helped us out with our children, babysitting and cooking. She will be dearly missed.
