Ruth E Ralston

She leaves behind her loving husband, Harold "Jack" Ralston of 27 years; a daughter, Debbie (Dave) Snyder of Indiana, 3 sons, Robert (Kelli) Fiala of Michigan, Rick (Valerie) Fiala of Arizona, James (Alyson) Fiala of Virginia; four step-children, Rae-Jeanne Cutler of Indiana, Teresa (Maurice) Theriac of Illinois, Roy (Reina) Ralston of Indiana, and Donnie Ralston of Indiana; numerous grandchildrenand great grand-children; two sisters, Tootie Costanza of Arizona, and she was preceded in death by Lois (Jim) Simon of Indiana; as well as many friends that mourn her passing.

Ruth will always be remembered as a devout parishioner of the First Baptist Church in Schererville, IN. She played cards with her friends and loved to complete many types of puzzles. Her kind smile was always there to greet you and the community will miss the memories created when she owned and operated the Woodmar Delicatessen on 169th Street in Hammond, IN.

A public visitation for Ruth will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 from 10AM to 12PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN 46322. A funeral service will be at 12PM with Pastor Thomas McDonnell officiating. A burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8178 Cline Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307. Family members will be acting as pall bearers - Oliver Fiala, Peter Fiala, David Snyder, Brian Snyder, Addison Klausner and Tom McDonnell.
