Sally B Bedella Mosqueda

Sally B. Mosqueda (nee Bedella), age 76, of East Chicago, IN passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Sally is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rudy “Pecas”; three brothers: Tom (Delores) Bedella, Manuel Bedella, and Alfred (Lorraine) Bedella; two sisters: Lillian Bedella and Betty (Marcos) Duran; and many nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by her parents: Anacio and Natalia Bedella; and sister, Lupe (Robert) Carpentier. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10 am at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 30 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Sally was retired from Inland Steel after 33 years. She enjoyed all sports and was an avid CUBS fan since she was 10 years old. Rudy and Sally dated since he was 17 and she was 16 years old. She also played the clarinet in the Washington High School marching band. Sally will always be remembered for being a very kind and generous person. She always made sure her mother and family were taken care of. Among her many passions was of course being a die hard “Cub” fan and also loved her cats .
