Sherry Kay Coy

Sherry was born on February 5th, 1954, in Oolitic, IN, to Claude Swartz and Mary (Marshall) Turpin.

Sherry will be remembered for her deep love for her family, and her kind and generous heart. She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo and going to the casino.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Michael G. Coy, her children Randy Swartz. Michelle (Keith) Fisher, and Crystal Coy, as well as two grandchildren Michael Gall and Camden Knezevich and two dogs Charlie and Pookie. She was also survived by her Sister Elizabeth Pollard and brother Charles Swartz as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Victoria Lynn Swartz, and two brothers Claude (Bud) (Dena) Swartz and Kenneth Swartz.

Services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens for immediate family only on July 11th, 2025 at 2:00 pm.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the hospice care team for their compassion, support, and excellent care during Sherry's final days.
