Thomas J. Schweitzer (Mr. Tom), age 61, of Griffith, IN passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He is survived by mother, Barbara A. Schweitzer of Griffith, IN; wife, Linda of Texas; daughter, Carrie (Jerry) Cintron of Florida and soon to be baby Cintron; sister, Dorothy (Mike) Pugliese of Chicago; brother, Martin (Lisa) Schweitzer of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Schweitzer. Tom was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a much loved son and family member who had many close friends. He was a friend to everyone he met and will always be remembered by those whose lives he touched. Private burial will be held in Texas. There will be no public visitation.
