Benjamin Catriz, 90, passed away on May 27, 2026, at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Pahala on April 28, 1936, he was a retired carpenter and a proud member of The Carpenters Union Local 745.

He is survived by sons, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Catriz of Hilo, Radford Catriz of Hilo, Daughter; Lauriette (Darrell) DeCambra of Hilo; 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
