Carmelita C. Peregrino, age 90, of Hilo, passed away on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. She was born Clark Air Force Base Pampanga Philippines on March 6, 1935. She was a retired package line worker for Diamond Head Papaya Company.
Funeral services will be held at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church in Keaukaha on Saturday September 6, 2025. The viewing starts at 9AM with Mass starting at 10AM. Burial to follow at 12PM at Homelani Cemetery. Mass attendees advised to car pool due to limited parking at the church.
She is survived by her brother Pancho Peregrino of Pauilo; her sisters Cynthia P. Liberato of Hilo, Nilda P. Dientsbach of Brisbane, Australia; Hanai sisters Conchita Caddarao, Jocelyn Dela Cruz (Robert), Marissa Tadeo(Celso) and her 8 nephews and 6 nieces of Australia, Manila and Pangasinan, Philippines.
