Carol Ann Kekaulike Sanchez, 83, of Hilo Passed away on September 7th at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born on March 4, 1943, in Honolulu, HI. She was the Kahu Kihapai of Ka ‘Uhane Hemolele O Ka Malamalama Church, Ho'omana O Ke Akua Ola.
Services will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo on October 16th. Visitation begins at 8:30am. Service from 9:30-11am. Burial to follow at Veterans Cemetery 2 at 12:00pm.
Carol is predeceased by Husband Amadio R. Sanchez and son Reid M. Sanchez. She is survived by sons, Rene K. (Gina) Sanchez, Richert A.L. (Marisa) Sanchez, Kamau K. Remmers; daughters, Aster P. (Myron) Dolor, Genai U. (Derek) Keliikuli; brothers, David W. (Jenny) Chun; sisters, Ernette M. Keliikuli, Pleiades K. (Kimo) Dolor, Rovena U. Olinger, 10 grandchildren and numerous cousins.
