Darlene Bernadette Arnold, 70, of Mountain View, passed away on September 12, 2026 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born on February 23, 1956, in Honolulu, Darlene will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude for a life grounded in devotion to home and family. A devoted homemaker.
Darlene was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Vance Arnold.
She is survived by her sons, Cala Vance (Keleka) Arnold, Chase Vance (Dyanna) Arnold, John Vance (Chasney) Arnold, Bryson Vance Arnold; daughters, Lisa Vivian (Melvin) Cadaoas, Jennie Bernadette (Herbie) Gomes; brothers, Donald Paishon, Dwayne Paishon; sister, Caroline Himelspach; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
There will be a Candlelight vigil to be held on 9/26/26 in place of services. 6 pm at Wailoa State Park Tsunami Memorial.
