Dwight L.K. Decker, 76 of Kamuela, passed away on May 1, 2025 at home. He was born August 15,1948 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was the founder/owner of Kamuela Taxi, former rancher for Parker Ranch and worked for Mauna Kea Hotel, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and a caregiver.
Service will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 9:00AM-11:30AM at Imiola Church-Kamuela. Lunch to follow at Laiana Hall at 12:00PM. Releasing of ashes at Kauwe Cemetery.
Dwight is survived by his son Dwight L.K Decker Jr. of Kamuela; his daughters Misty Key of Kamuela, Melissa (Rob) Landers of Kamuela, Barbrarose Decker of Kamuela, Naomi (Donald Gates Jr.) of Hilo; his brothers Warren Mochizuki of Honolulu, Wayne Mochizuki of Honolulu and Eric Decker of Clinton, Iowa; his sisters Belinda Stokes of Honolulu, Joanie Decker-Leffler of Tucson, Arizona; his 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
