Gene ‘Kini’ Palmyra Kaleilani Burke is reunited with his children, Douglas Titan Keahi Burke, Debra Alicia Kealani Roldan and all those who came before on Sunday, March 2, 2025. He lives on in the hearts of his wife, Judith Chie Kalani Napua McShane Burke, his grandchildren, Ke’ala (Puna) Neumann, Timmy Burke (Jaagriti Sharma) and their mother, Tanya Spencer, as well as hānai daughter, Renee Morinaka and grandson, Kenison Morinaka. A dream come true for him was seeing the life of the lāhui carried forward in his five great-grandchildren. His extended family includes his sister Nalani, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
