Grace Puanani Hernandez, 89, of Hilo, Hawaii, died on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Kaumana Ward.
Services will be held on Friday June 6, 2025 at The Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (522 Ponahawai St, Hilo, HI 96720). Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM with service to start at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery 2.
Grace is survived by her daughters, Olanda Flood of Hilo, Roberta (John) Makaokalani of Hilo, Pua Hernandez of Hilo; her sons, Manuel (Ruchelle) Hernandez of Hilo, Robert (Laurell) Hernandez of Hilo, Peter Hernandez of Hilo, John Hernandez of Oahu; her 28 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
