Gwendolyn Marvis Kahawai, 73, of Keaau, passed away on June 22, 2026, at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. She was an Education Assistant for the State Department of Education.

She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel Kahawai; Survived by her son, Jonah (Mykalyn) Kahawai; Daughter, Rowena Lehua Kahawai (Marc) Ota and six Grandchildren.
