Joseph worked as a residential painter, a trade that reflected steady dedication and pride in honest work. Outside of work, he found simple, genuine enjoyment in surfing and bowling.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Richardson’s Bay on October 18th at 12 noon.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Denise Ann Thompson; his mom, Sara (Steve) O’Keefe; sons, Cedric Davern and Joseph J. Thompson VI; daughters, Noel Thompson and Sheena (Tony) Nakano; brothers, Budd (Kathy) Thompson, Michael Thompson, and David Thompson; sisters, Sally (Jimmy) Brown and Shana Caposio; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ella, Antonya (Kama), Nainoa, and Micha; and his great-grandchild, Ryah M.
