

Louise will be remembered with deep respect for the steady devotion she gave to those she loved and the quiet strength that guided her life. She carried herself with grace and dignity, and she brought that same care to her home, her community, and her work.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Texeira; Husband, Ray Jaynes; her son, Kenneth Hussey; and her brothers, Samuel Vierra, Bobby Vierra, and Eugene Vierra.
She is survived by her sons, Francis Costo and Donald Alapai; her daughters, Bernadette Talroc and Joanne Javier; and her eight grandchildren.
Louise’s life was enriched by the friendships and fellowship she found through the Red Hat Society, the Portuguese Cultural Club, and the Hale Kau Kau Organization. She also dedicated many years of service through her work with Maui Land and Pineapple, where her reliability and pride in honest work were evident to all who knew her.
Louise Adele Noelani Jaynes will be dearly missed and respectfully remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
