Manuel Correiro Luiz Jr., 66, of Puna, Hawaii, passed away on Sunday August 4, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1959 in Lihue, Kauai. He retired from HPHA (Lanakila Housing) as Maintenance Worker Labor ll.
The family will be hosting a private gathering.
Manuel is survived by his wife Joanne K. Luiz of Puna, Hawaii; survived by sons Manny (Brianna) Luiz of Oahu, Kevin (Nohea) Luiz of Utah; survived by step-son Ken of Maryland; survived by daughters Kristy (Tracy) Nakashima of Nevada; survived by step-daughters Enola (Mike) Iaukea of Washington, Kanlynn (Fernando) Orta of Utah; survived by brothers Clyde Luiz of Hilo, Ricky (Laura) Luiz of Puna; survived by sisters Claudia (Aurelio) Mina of Hawaiian Beaches, Arlene (Michael) AhSing of Hilo; survived by 15 grandchildren; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
