A veteran of the United States Air Force, He earned a master’s in accounting and applied that discipline throughout his career, including his work as a Contract Administrator for ML Mac Orchids L.P. Robert was a member of The Korean War Veterans Association and The Jolly Riders Motorcycle Club.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Karp. He is survived by his son, Robert (Claudia) Franklin Karp Jr.; his daughter, Teten Karp; his brother, Leroy (Anita) Karp; and his sisters, Marilyn Early, Jane Broy, and Lois Mimick. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
