Alan was a graduate of Tyner High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Survivors include his mother, Hazel S. Garner; sister, Nancy (Charles) Brice; brothers, Joe
(Shelia) Garner and Steven Garner; as well as many cousins.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday, August 4 in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11-12 Saturday.
