Pat was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and served our country during World War II in the United States Army. He retired from American General Insurance Company after 31 years of service. Pat was an avid golfer, member of Moccasin Bend Golf Club where he enjoyed playing with his friends.
He was the last surviving family member of the Eugene Patterson family.
Pat is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue N. Patterson; children, Cindy Patterson Belton (Chuck) Taylor and William Dana (Cynthia) Patterson; 2 grandchildren, Chris and Patrick Belton; 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, October 25, and from 12 (noon) to 1 pm on Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Pat will follow at 1 pm on Monday at the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to Avalon Hospice, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
