Andrew Frederick Klaehn, 56, lost the fight with cancer on January 26, 2025, at Erlanger East Hospital, Chattanooga, TN. He was born June 15, 1968, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Gerald and Nancy (Robinson) Klaehn (deceased). Andrew graduated from Gibbs High School class of 1968. Following his graduation he went to UT Knoxville, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1992, he then moved to Chattanooga where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997, a career he loved. He married his loving wife Tirza (Paucar) Klaehn on April 26, 2009. He has three sons: Nicholas Andrew (22), Benjamin Zachary (12), Thomas Gerald (deceased 6/6/14 - 7/16/14); and a brother: Christopher Klaehn. He has plenty of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
Andrew was a member of the UT Rugby Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Hamilton Community Church. He enjoyed scuba diving, traveling, sports (big UT Football Fan), music and fishing.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, February 14 from 4:00-6:30 pm at Hamilton Community Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7997 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
