Ann was a native of Chattanooga. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, with a degree in elementary education and special education endorsement. She has been a member of St. Jude Church and Holy Spirit Church. Ann was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles McManus and Ann Barry Talbott. Ann married in 1973 to Robert L. Greever, Jr. Ann worked and raised her family in Chattanooga.
Ann is survived by her husband Robert, and her two children, Ann Marie Greever and Robert L. Greever, III. Ann has one grandchild, Jonathan Denman Greever. She also survived by her brothers and sister. Charles Talbott, Jr. (Michelle), Tom Talbott (friend Marsha), Ben Talbott (Debra), Mary Barbee.
Ann also has a mother-in-law, Lucille Greever, and three brothers-in-law, John Greever, Tom Greever (Kay) and James Greever. She has a host of nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in her memory to St. Peter’s Episcopal School or Dawn (School) Program, a program in Hamilton County for emotionally disturbed children.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm on Wednesday, October 11, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, October 12, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 10768 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
