He was born October 15, 1921 in Gates County N.C. Aston was the son of the late Button & Callie Parker Jones. He served in the United States Army, and was a member of the White Oak Church of Christ.
Aston was preceded in death by his first wife; Claire Mae Smith Jones, sister, Marie Fleming, brother, Robert Jones, and many nieces and nephews
Aston is survived by his wife of 16 years, Evelyn Irene Jones, special niece, Hulda Tomlin, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Aston will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 30, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home, with Ministers Jim Dearman, and Shane Robinson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30, from 1:00pm until time of the service at the North Chapel.
