She was preceded in death by her parents Milbern and Lillian Sewell and her brother John Sewell.
Barbara is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty-six years Karl W. Christison; sisters Sue Green, Sandra Abercrombie and Terry (Hoyt) Rogers and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
She was a graduate of Central High School and a retired employee of Provident Life Insurance Company
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 4-8pm and Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 12-2:30pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:30 on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Belva officiating
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
