Billy R. Bilyeu, age 83, of Hixson, passed away on Sunday, February 21st, 2021.

Billy was born in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Peyton and Clara Bilbrey Bilyeu. He served our country in the United States Army National Guard. Billy retired from DuPont with over 35 years of service.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Billy was preceded in death by his brother, David Maxie Bilyeu.

Billy is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda M. Bilyeu; children, David Bilyeu, Diane (Eddie) Helton, and Debbie Bilyeu; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will have a gathering of friends from 3 to 6 pm on Saturday, February 27, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

There will be a private service for the family only.

We respectfully request that "social distancing", wearing masks at all times, and all CDC measures be followed at the funeral home and cemetery.
