Bill was born in Pineville, Louisiana.
He was a member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was a retired electrical technician in the carpet industry.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Virginia Ann Crooks, his son, Richard Crooks of Chattanooga, and cousin, Robert (Linda) Crooks of Crosby, Texas.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home at 2:00 PM ET, with Pastor Jim Buttram, Jr. officiating,
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until service time at North Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.
