

Mrs. Fairfax was a longtime member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and was a nurse with Red Bank Hospital (Erlanger North) for many years.
Her family and pets were the love of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends whose lives she so richly blessed.
Survivors include her children, Don (Lynn) Fairfax of Omaha, Nebraska; Joy (David) Wright of Chattanooga; and Debbie (Larry) Bramlett of Jasper; seven grandchildren, Amy (John) Eldridge, Bryan (Amye) Bramlett, Erin (Jeremy) Waddell, Mandy Bramlett, Joel (Melissa) Fairfax, Seth (Chole) Fairfax and Kelli Knowlton; brother, Arlen Joy of Missouri; sister, Suanne (Larry) Reed of Louisiana; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the North Chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. at the North Chapel.
The children would like to thank Dr. Walter Parkhurst, not only as her physician, but also a dear friend and mentor; Senior Helpers (particularly Gail Wallace); and Hospice of Chattanooga for their compassionate and loving care.
