Bobbie Sue Moody, 82, of Hixson, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of Abba’s House. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice Layne and was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Survivors include three daughters, Jan (Antony) Capstick, California, Monica Neal, and Rhonda (Rook) Darling both of Hixson; two sons, Bryan (Diane) Moody, Jr., Hixson and Stephen (Kaye) Moody, White, GA; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, JoAnn Hanley and Donna Creekmore; two brothers, LeBron Layne and Jerry Layne; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Abba’s House, with the Rev. Ronnie Phillips, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist and 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday before the service at the church.
