Bobby Joe Smith, cherished son, brother, and friend, was reunited with his dad in his Heavenly home on December 18, 2025, at the age of 50. Born to Fred and Aline Smith on July 28, 1975, in Dayton, Tennessee, Bobby was a brave and resilient soul who touched the lives of many.
Bobby was a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones. He had a special fondness for Panama City Beach, where he created countless cherished memories with his family. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for walking and watching the birds outside his window. Bobby's infectious laughter and constant smile were a testament to his joyful spirit.
A special thanks to the residential staff of Orange Grove who stayed with Bobby, providing him with care and companionship.
He is preceded in death by his father, Fred A. Smith.
Survivors include his mother, Aline Smith; brothers, Brian (Deborah) Smith and Ronnie (Lisa) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Friday, December 26, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home - North, 5401 Highway 153 Hixson, TN 37343.
Funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Family and friends will then proceed to Hamilton Memorial Gardens for the committal service.
