Carl was retired from Brown Brothers, Inc., and a member of Teamsters Local #519. He was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church and the East Lake Lodge #698 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Gentry Miller.
Carl is survived by daughters: Karen Sperling of Seattle, Washington and Beverly (David) Pack of Sylvania, Alabama, son: Wayne (Sharon) Miller of Hixson, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren: brother, Charles Miller of East Ridge, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 27, at the North Chapel with Charles Cubine officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
