She was a Christian and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was born and raised in Hamlin, WV and was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Leeson, Sr. and her parents, Taylor and Zena Cremeans of Winchester, TN.
Survivors include her children, Ed Leeson, Jr (Carol), Mark Leeson (Faye) and Michelle Leeson Moore (Greg); her 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Dixie Cremeans Shelton of Houston, TX; brother, Gary Cremeans (Kathleen) of Wayne, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Carole will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, P.O. Box 9, Hixson, TN 37343. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Roger DeHart officiating.
