Remembering Brandy with deep gratitude and honor for her many years of faithful prayer for youth at-risk served by Clubs In The City ministry in Raleigh. Brandy frequently corresponded as she prayed, continually expressing her heart for the youth to be blessed and sending encouragement and insights. She continued to pray right on when diagnosed with ALS. It is great to think of the joy of her heavenly homecoming.

Miss her greatly down at Crabtree. Always brainstorming and conniving with me to put more edible plants in every nook and cranny at the farm...

Brandy and I shared a table at Master Gardener school. We shared our personal history with each other and found out that we both loved all of outdoors, cooking natural and the love of plants and trees. She was the most dedicated person to our world , to live off of the land that we treated well. Her dedication to our planet will leave an imprint to those who worked with her for this cause. Brandy was a superlative Master Gardener. She was constantly looking for that right mix of horticulture and environmental sustainability. Our email conversations regarding best practices in the garden kept me on my toes. I looked forward to those discussions. She will be missed by me and many others in our community garden family. I wish comfort to Rick and other family and friends during this time.
