It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Carolyn Roberson, a truly special woman who lived 89 beautiful years, touching the lives of everyone blessed enough to know her.
Carolyn was the definition of sweetness, kindness, and unconditional love. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother, she dedicated her life to her family and found her greatest joy in caring for the people she loved. As a homemaker and stay-at-home mom, she made her home a place of warmth, comfort, and love. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she gave of herself selflessly, always putting the needs and happiness of those she loved before her own.
She had a gentle heart and a kind spirit that made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her love was shown in the little things—in the care she gave, the comfort she offered, the memories she created, and the countless ways she made life sweeter for those around her. She may not have sought recognition or praise, but the love she poured into her family will forever remain one of her greatest legacies.
As a wife, Carolyn was devoted and faithful for 70 years. As a mother, she was loving and nurturing. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a source of tenderness, wisdom, and unconditional love. The lessons she taught, the values she instilled, and the beautiful example she set will continue to live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.
Carolyn was preceded in death by two of her sons, Jerry Roberson and David Roberson.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Harold Roberson; her children, Alice (Greg) Ehmig and Steve (Janna) Roberson; her grandchildren, Adam (Jennifer) Roberson, Michael (Meagan) Ehmig, Devin (Jayme) NeeSmith, and Thomas Roberson; and her great-grandchildren, Kyah, Cierra, Cameron, Lainey, Brooks, Oaklyn, Kinlee, Bailee, and James; sister, Joann Knox; daughter-in-law, Lisa Roberson. She also leaves behind many great-great-grandchildren who will carry her legacy of love forward.
Although her passing leaves a space in our hearts that can never truly be filled, we find comfort in knowing that a life so full of love will never be forgotten. Her hands may no longer hold ours, but the love she gave us will hold us together forever.
Carolyn leaves behind a beautiful legacy of family, faithfulness, kindness, and love. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A life lived with love is a life that will never be forgotten.
