Celeste Anissa Herrin, 51, of Chattanooga, TN transitioned from this world to the next on June 01, 2020 at her residence from an unexpected medical condition. She was born in Bradley county on August 10, 1968 to father Toy Alvin Evans & mother Arlene "Faye" Evans (Goins).
Celeste was an avid practical bargain hunter. She loved yard sales, auctions, flea markets & thrift shops. No one could execute a Saturday morning plan of attack better than she. Celeste was always looking for new re-purposing & crafting ideas. She had recently taken up 'porch' gardening, in preparation for the next pandemic, with seedlings occupying all available space along with an increasing concern over how to keep the cats out of the gardens. It was these hobbies that gave her the opportunity to make many great friends who loved her dearly.
Celeste was a woman of Faith, Honesty, and Love. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, & Grandmother who valued her family beyond measure and always prioritized their needs above her own. Although she battled fibromyalgia her entire adult life & was beset by continuous pain, she still loved cooking, baking, and celebrating all special family occasions & milestones.
Celeste is survived by a husband of 10 years, Randy Herrin; daughter Shelby Russell (Brandon), son Spencer Givens, daughter Tiffany Givens; grandsons Brayden Russell & Bentley Posey; brother-in-law Steve Herrin, brother-in-law John Huneycutt, sister-in-law Connie Boger (Ray); several nieces & nephews; her ever-present canine charges Diva & Keno and feline fiends, Crystal and Lennox.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her infant son, Nathaniel Givens.
To help honor her memory, and continue in the aid of others with the same disabling disease with pain severity that is vastly under-represented, we will gladly encourage memorial contributions to be made to Fibromyalgia Care Society of America, Inc.
Arrangements are entrusted to the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist where a private celebration of life is planned for immediate family. Please read the full obituary and share your thoughts & memories at www.ChattanoogaNorthChapel.com
