Charles V. Cronan, 79, of Soddy Daisy died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his home. He was born April 2, 1936 in Etowah, Tennessee to the late James and Louella Cronan. He was retired from the Electric Power Board. He was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Melton and Alma Pritchard. Mr. Cronan was a member of the Etowah Masonic Lodge # 653 F. and Am.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Cronan of Soddy Daisy; daughters, Cynthia (Gregg) Hawkins of South Pittsburg, Tennessee and Amanda Cronan of Hixson, Tennessee; sisters, Kathryn Shelton of Etowah, Tennessee and Thelma Scott of Hanceville, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm from Hensley Cemetery with Mr. Ernie Ricketts officiating and masonic graveside rites.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Thursday evening from 4-7.
