Charles was a very nice guy to spend time with. It was always a treat at family gatherings to sit , talk and laugh with Charles. He loved his family deeply and will be missed. He Loved hunting and fishing. Just saw him a couple of Sundays before his trip to the best hunting and fishing spot. Bet that hunting cabin is fabulous. Rest In Peace.

Charles was so much more than a neighbor to Marc and I. He was an amazing friend and felt like family. I have so many stories I could share but I'll stick to only two.
When we first moved in Marc traveled a good bit for work. Charles always looked out for me. I remember one evening we had bad weather come through. Charles called to be sure I was alright. He even offered for me to come stay the night with them if I was scared. He probably never knew how much that meant to me and Marc!
Charles also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed getting one up on you. Just before I opened my business we found ourselves needing to pick chairs up in Nashville. Marc's truck broke down on us. We were outside trying to get it running and figure out what we were going to do if we couldn't when Charles walked outside to see what we were up to. We explained the situation and he said "take my truck." without any hesitation. We said no we couldn't possibly do that. That's when he took the keys out of his pocket and threw them at Marc and said "Doesn't look like you have a choice!" He let us drive his truck all the way to Nashville. We were nervous wrecks the whole time but again Charles saved the day.
We couldn't have asked for a better neighbor and friend and we will miss him terribly.
