

He was preceded in death by his father Donald C. Horsman, mother Norma H. Horsman, and sister Julie H. Gingerich.
Dan is survived by his wife: Chris; His children: Donny(Christina); Debbie(Tom); Sherri(Richard); Michelle(Todd); His brothers: David(Sandra); Bruce(Kay), and a plethora of extremely loved grandchildren: Brent, Melissa, Matt, Brittany, Luke, Jake, Sam, Marissa, Allie, Helene and Charlotte along with many nieces and nephews.

Dan was a proud graduate of Purdue in 1963 with a degree in Industrial Engineering , and came to Chattanooga to become owner of Doors of Distinction which he operated for 30 years. Dan had an incredible passion for golf, playing on the team at Purdue, and later playing whenever he had a chance.
Dan was a man of faith, starting every morning with a bowl of cereal, peanut butter toast, and a devotion. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be missed by all.
The Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday at 12pm at the Chattanooga North Chapel.
