Charles (Vernon) Hoskins III, 70, a resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his closest loved ones and beloved pets, Malcomb and Izzy on the evening of December 9, 2024. Born in Clarksville, TN, a member of The Old Rugged Cross Church and of Baptist faith, Vernon spent many years working as a dedicated brick mason.
He was an avid golfer and over the course of his life, softball and martial arts were his passions. He was a loving father to his two children, Felicia and Shawn, a doting grandfather to Camden, and a cherished partner to Lisa.
Charles Vernon Hoskins III was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Maryann Hoskins, his father, Charles Vernon Hoskins ll, and his brother, Robert Eugene Hoskins. He is survived by his children, Felicia Nicole Blair and Shawn Nicholas Hoskins, his grandchild Camden Quaid Hoskins, his partner Lisa Ann Parker, and his siblings Alice (Darro) Cooper, Susan (Terry) Evans, Kathryn (Don) Jones, Danny (Diola) Hoskins, and Michael (Linda) Hoskins, and many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
He will be remembered for his strength, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
