He served in the Army during World War II and retired from Combustion as a welding engineer where he provided faithfully for his family. He also enjoyed photography, creating custom boat and vehicle decals, along with serving the Lord in song with the New Salem Baptist choir.
Bud was a kind, gracious, exceptional, and unforgettable man.
He was beloved and survived by his wife of 64 years, Vera Linz, and their 3 children Judith Linz, Michael Linz, and Patrick (Wanda) Linz, 5 grandchildren Brian (Sally) and Candice Stacy, Joshua Linz, Lacie (Christopher) Roddy, and Tanner Linz, 1 great-grandchild, Jessica Stacy, and brother, Conway Patrick (Jackie) Linz. He was preceded by sister, Edith Lauerman and granddaughter, Jennifer Stacy.
The family will receive friends Saturday February 18 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the North Chapel. Services will be Sunday at 3:30 PM at North Chapel with entombment to follow in Hamilton memorial Gardens.
